Fundraising Opportunites

KidShape® Foundation depends on generous contributions to enable the program to grow and be offered to families who otherwise may not afford it. The cost of providing healthcare services continues to grow and we need your help to meet the increasing need of children who suffer from overweight. KidShape® Foundation does recieve a portion of funding from government sources. However, this only covers part of the budget.

There are a variety of ways to become a partner with us. They are outlined below.

Financial Contributions

Your gift can help a family achieve better health. Contributions help pay for scholarships for familes who do not have health insurance and for salaries for the consultants who work at individual sites. They also help pay for incentives and prizes for the families that complete the program.

Estate Planning

Planned Gift (Estate Tax Planning) - Some gifts can create substanial tax deductions, increase income, or reduce estate taxes while making larger gifts with cash or appreciated assets such as stocks, real property or other personal assets. Check with your personal attorney, CPA or investment advisor.

Legal Gift (include KidShape® Foundation in your will) - The easiest and most common way for most people to support their favorite charities, and to make a lasting impact, is by including KidShape® Foundation in your will.

Donations

Donations of automobiles, boats, recreational vehicles, airplanes, etc. has become people way to dispose of used items while taking a tax a fax deduction and helping KidShape® Foundation in the process. Some advantages for your include.

• Not worrying about selling the item
• In many cases, the organzation will pick up the item
• You recieve a tax deduction for the fair market value
• You make a contribution to a charity

In-Kind Donations

SPACE - If you have a location which may be appropriate to hold KidShape® classes, please contact us. We are always in search of safe, clean, and easily accessible sites to hold classes.

PRIZES - If you have toys, shoes, books, crayons, or any other packaged gifts you would like to donate, we will distribute them as an incentive t our families for their attendance and participation.
